The NSW Government today announced significant new restrictions in the context of the ongoing COVID-19 lockdown impacting Greater Sydney.
As with other businesses in the construction sector, these restrictions impact our activities significantly.
In adhering to government requirements, we advise partners and stakeholders that we will pause all construction activities on our sites until 30 July from Monday 19 July that are non-urgent, relate to maintenance and repair work.
We note our concern in relation to the severity of government restrictions in relation to construction sites and encourage authorities to consider alternative approaches to helping combat the COVID-19 pandemic, but acknowledge the challenges resulting from the current outbreak in Greater Sydney.
Our thoughts are with workers and families impacted by current tightening of restrictions both in our organisation and more broadly in the sector, as well as the wider community.
We look forward with anticipation to resuming works after 30 July.
